This L-shaped solid wood desk

"This L-shaped solid wood desk is both well designed and well made. it was easy to put together. The illustrations in the manual were easy to follow while using the tools and screws included. I appreciated the email I received post delivery explaining what was in the package to assemble the table plus an option to use Angi for assembly, if need be. The communication on a whole was excellent and the item was delivered very quickly within the time frame provided to me. I also needed a specific sized L-shaped desk to fit in my space. Most of them were quite large and the size of this was perfect. I liked the empty space beneath the entire desk which will serve as vertical storage for works in progress. The double stacked shelves is a nice touch at the end of the L portion of the desk. It is well placed in the design so it is out of the way and functional at the same time. It's a sturdy desk and it has everything I needed. I highly recommend this product!"

Quality control Issues and not worth it

"Hello- I have never ordered from Plank and Beam, this was my first time. I finally decided after looking for months and placed my order on May 22, delivered May 31. June 16th I had a handyman over to put it together and there was no hardware included in the box. I reported that the hardware was missing from the package. The customer service woman was nice enough and said she would ""express"" the hardware and said I would receive the order confirmation and then shipping info. I received the order confirmation but still no shipping information or tracking 5 days later. Additionally, as the pieces sit in the corner waiting for hardware I am noticing weird, l quality issues and discoloring. Not sure if it is wood glue, mold or what. To say the least, this is already not worth the price and hassle. I hope who ever is reading this finds this helpful. I would be happy to share photos but this review is not allowing them to upload."

Not so great

"I wanted to love it but I just can't. The natural stain has an undertone of grayish blue, so it looks ""bruised"". It also has several dings and blemishes. It's assembled so I'll be keeping it."
