"Love this bed frame! I was in between this bed frame and one that was around $900 because I was nervous the Plank + Beam bed was too good to be true. It was easy to assemble (according to my partner lol) and is so sturdy. The headboard color is beautiful with the dark wood. I look forward to shopping with Plank + Beam here in the future."
"The bed frame is a lovely design. However the three middle pieces of wood that are supposed to stabilize the bed are flimsy and offer little support . The screws are too small throughout most of the assembly and are not strong enough to support the structure. After less than 2 weeks the front of the metal crossbar dislodged and the bed just about collapsed when it appeared to have sunk down during the night. I wouldn’t recommend it."
"I LOVE my new bed. It’s beautiful. Exactly as pictured on the website but looks even better in person. The headboard material is soft and matches any color you want to pair with it. The wood is great quality for the price. Definitely a great buy."
"Excellent product. Visibly high quality. A little taller than we expected - but that is on us for not measuring accuratley. Easy assembly, clear instructions. Great customer service - there was some confusion with our order at first, so I reached out. The representative replied withing MINUTES and clarified + fixed the problem there and then. "Very nice bed that is not bulky looking for my small bedroom. The color blended in well with my bedroom furniture. I would recommend getting the setup service. A family member assembled it for me and it went pretty smoothly and fast but I would not have wanted to tackle it. The delivery time said 2 to 3 weeks but it arrived in less than a week. I won’t be tucking in bed linens like the pictures show. Too much work and mattress is too heavy. No squeaks so far."

"Glad I asked to be notified when it was back in stock. I got walnut and it's not super dark. Very sturdy. Lots of off-gassing- smells like wood stain and glue. It's dissipating pretty quickly. Maybe bc I got it fresh from the factory? It took longer than anticipated to assemble- about 2.5 hours for my handyman. A drill was helpful for some of the screws. I really like how tall it is for a platform bed- I need it as I need a new hip. I put a 11.5 inch firm mattress on top and it sleeps like a dream! May get the coordinating night stands even tho I have some already."
"My daughter loves the bed but putting it together was a challenge. The pocket holes made it difficult to line things up and get everything tightened. The frame flexed during assembly causing the wood to split and one of the threadings was glued in crooked so we were unable to get that screw in fully."
"Love the bed. Looks great. Hardest piece of furniture I have ever put together. Definitely need two people and some large right angle squares to put top and sides together. Once one corner is attached they become easier as you go around."
"Absolutely love! I walk into the bedroom, and the smell of the wood is wonderful, and the canopy frame is so inviting. It's gives my room a lightness and warmth. I do have box springs so I would offer a bed where the headboard is a little higher, but ultimately I am going to turn it into a beautiful dream bed, with lots of soft colorful curtains and valances. It's great!"
