Plank+Beam® is part of the Maxwood Furniture, Inc. family of brands which includes Maxtrix®, Max & Lily® and Jackpot! Kids Furniture™ (“we,” “us,” or “our Brands”). Our Brands are committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of personal information you share with us (the phrase personal information means any information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you or your household). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you what information we may collect from you, how we use such information, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to review, correct and opt out of our use of, your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect about you in our stores and through our websites and mobile applications. By using any of our websites, mobile applications, or sharing your contact information with us, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information and Collection

To serve you better, we may combine information you give us online, in our dealer stores or through our catalogs. We may also combine that information with publicly available information and information we receive from or cross-reference with our partners and others. We use that combined information to enhance and personalize the shopping experience of you and others with us, to communicate with you about our products and events that may be of interest to you, and for other promotional purposes.


We allow third-party companies to serve ads and/or collect certain information when you visit our websites. These companies may use certain information (e.g., click stream information, browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over) collected during your visits to this and other websites to provide advertisements about goods and services likely to be of interest to you. These companies typically use a cookie or third party web beacon to collect this information. Retention of Data

We will keep your personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which personal information is collected as stated herein; for as long as is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us, if any; and to comply with legal and statutory obligations, such as in tax, trade and corporate laws. When we no longer need your personal information for our purposes, we will destroy, delete or erase that personal information or convert it into an anonymous form.

Security of Data

Information security is critical to our business. We will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information in our possession from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We are committed to processing your data in a secure manner and have put in place specific technical and organizational measures to prevent the personal information we hold from being accidentally or deliberately compromised.  Please be aware that these protection tools do not protect information that is not collected through our website, such as information provided to us by e-mail.  We also conduct information risk assessments, we ensure that our staff understands the importance of protecting personal data, and we are responsibly managing access rights within the company.


We urge you to keep any password that you establish with us in a safe place and not to divulge it to anyone. Opting Out

Right to access

Right to request deletion

Records reflecting purchase histories cannot be deleted.


Right to non-discrimination

You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for exercise of these privacy rights. We do not offer financial incentives related to the provision of data.

You may have the right to designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf.

Children and Privacy

Our Brand’s websites are intended to be accessible and enjoyed by general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 without first providing the parent or legal guardian with notice and obtaining prior verifiable consent. If a visitor known to be a child sends an email to us, we will only use it to respond to the writer and not to create profiles or otherwise retain the information. Policy Changes

If we change our privacy policy in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting a notice on our websites, as applicable. Those changes will go into effect on the effective date posted in the notice and at the end of the revised Privacy Policy.
