Sturdy bed

"My teenage son has a very small room and it was always a mess. He needed more floor space for storage and wanted a desk for gaming. The only way to make these possible was a lofted bed. I was worried as he is a bigger kid that it might not be sturdy enough. He and I built this bed in an afternoon. We’ve had it for months and it’s super sturdy and he loves having a desk under it (found a cheap L-shape desk on Amazon that fits under it perfectly). I like that it’s an xl to give him room to grow. I’d would definitely buy plank + beam again!"
