"I’m very happy with the overall product. It is sturdy. I like the clean lines and the short footboard. The wood does easily get dinged/dented. During building it, another board dropped and dinged it. I should have been more careful. The only issue was the small screws - they stripped out very easily. I should have replaced them. I’ll never get them back out. The instructions are correct, but there were a few times I messed up a step because I didn’t catch a small detail on the instructions."

Great Bed - Add Slat Roll, Hire Help
"This is the sturdiest, most well-made bed I have ever owned. I love that it is real wood with low VOC paint. It is so well constructed that I hope I never have to take it apart again. Know that this is a low profile headboard, so make sure your mattress isn't so high that it covers it. It is also important to note a few things: 1) Look at the specs for your mattress (if you aren't using a box spring). My mattress required the slats to be 3" or less apart and those that came with the bed were probably about 8 inches apart, so I had to spend $180 on the extra slat roll. This is an extra expense, which I didn't love. I wish that the bed just came with this upgrade. But the slat roll made all the difference. 2) If I was making this purchase again, I would either choose a different model with a solid headboard or use the coupon and hire someone to put it together for me. The slats in the headboard assembly almost destroyed my marriage - I kid you not. It was very complicated to put together. You are going to need a handy partner with a well-stocked tool box to put this together. Even better, spend the money to have someone else put it together. It's challenging because it is a quality bed and requires extra effort to put it together properly. But once it's done, you'll love it. Very high quality and a beautiful bed."

"This bed looks great and is very comfortable with our Purple Mattress. It was very easy to assemble (less than 2 hours) and there were no missing or broken parts. It was shipped at no additional cost via FedEx Ground and arrived ahead of schedule. The design and construction is very robust and solid. I highly recommend this bed, especially for the value."
