Beautiful bed and simple assembly
"Honestly, I’m shocked at the other reviews saying it was difficult to put together… I’ve put many pieces of furniture together and this was one of the easier that my husband and I have put together to date! The instructions are very straight forward. Took us about an hour and half - tops! And boy did it pay off! Stunning, stunning, stunning!"
"This one is rough. Bed frame looks good but it literally took me 5-6 hours to put together and im generally handy and can lift and move heavy pieces. If you dont have a screwdriver with an allen key socket attachment, you will need one, becuase this would have taken me another 2 hours if i tried to do it with the allen key provided. Also, the bed frame sits super low. We now need to buy a box spring because it sits awkwardly low next to our side tables as feels weird getting out of bed from such a low set up. Love the look but probably wouldnt buy again."
PAY FOR THE ASSEMBLY
"BUY THE ASSEMBLY!!!! I bought this bed and I love the finished product but the assembly took 4 hours. . . . I was with my husband and this was the most difficult thing I have built and we have built lots of furniture. Also if your bedroom is upstairs, bringing the 2 boxes upstairs itself if hard. . . the fabric on the bed as well is a cover you have to put over the assembled pieces and for us it didnt fit perfectly so it made it that much harder. Looks beautiful, sturdy once built, but this bedframe has made my husband want to purchase the assembly for everything from here on out lol"
"It was terrible to put together- othrwise nice bed"
"There were alot of pieces, wrapping the fabric around the left and right side was a challenge then attaching to the headboard was a challenge as well."
A lot of holes didn't
"A lot of holes didn't align had to rig to set up but once completed looked great"
Beautiful once assembled, but assembly? 0/10.
"The bed is wonderful once assembled, but this had to be THE MOST DIFFICULT piece of furniture I have ever put together. . . and I do not say that lightly as my partner and I are VERY strong furniture builders (we do friends furniture for fun because that's how much we enjoy it). Anyway, this assembly requires building every element of the structure--significantly more so than with furniture of a similar caliber. Additionally, you basically upholster the entire frame yourself which was unbelievably difficult. I laughed at how ridiculous the building process was at one point. But like I said, great bed once made ;)"
Difficult to put together with
"Difficult to put together with all the peices and stretching fabric. Mine came damaged but was followed up with very well by the company. Good for the price"
"Terrible experience with this bed. The parts are poorly designed and badly numbered, so you have to guess where each piece goes. We ended up hiring someone to help us assemble it, and still discovered that several screws were missing. We spent over $40 at Home Depot trying to find the right ones, but none of them worked. On top of that, the fabric pieces are not the correct size and are extremely difficult to put on. Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing purchase."
Q&A
- Hello, is this bed compatible with an adjustable bed frame
- Hi Samantha! The slats on this bed are 5 inches apart, so compatibility depends on the requirements of your adjustable mattress. You’ll want to make sure your mattress can work with that spacing.
