"Quite pleased with purchase of the Contour TV stand. Looks very handsome holding my 55” TV. My handyman easily put this together for me. There was a slight misalignment of one of the doors that my handyman was able to sort through. Product is consistent with on-line images. Would have given 5 stars for a dark walnut color versus the medium walnut color on offer, but that’s just a personal preference."
"It is a beautiful piece, definitely challenging to put together as some holes were not drilled correctly. The right door fit perfectly, however, since it was not pre-fabricated well, the right door has to be pushed in and will not click out with ease. On the fence about having to return it, I just wish both doors worked well. Really makes me second guess purchasing another item from Plank & Beam :0("
"This is my first time buying a painted product from plank + beam. It was very dusty in the box for some reason with some minor scratches. This particular piece was also much more challenging to put together- needed to forcefully place some of the pieces but overall is a great addition to our space. Overall sturdy. Would just be mindful that you can see whatever items you place in the cabinets."
"overall it does the job. I found this company via reddit threads. The photos do make it look taller than it is. please look at the dimensions carefully. The package was damaged, which left wooden spindles cracked. Not a big deal, but you expect better when you pay this much for a piece. it hurts my future resale value of the piece, because I will be replacing this asap. There is veneer on top of the ""solid pine wood"" piece. This was not clearly mentioned in the descriptions. I did not want a piece that came with veneer, if I was paying over $450 for a piece. Due to the above this will be my first and last purchase from this company. Recommend using a drill and hex bits to make assembly faster, without it you'll spend significantly more time assembling. Getting everything to line us was tricky but not impossible, the top and backing were the worst for me. I got the pecan color. looks like a medium oak in person. It does the job, but unfortunately it is not something I am proud to own."
