I required a brand new
"I required a brand new bed frame and this is the one made from real planks of lumber, not composite, engineered 'wood,' which is why you have to pay more. It even comes with a label promising it isn't made out of formaldehyde. The white melamine top boards are also not off-gassing toxic fumes. Next, I like its sturdy. basic design. four legs, some bracing, a ladder. All strong. Assembly was not so hard once you sit down and focus on the instructions. All holes were pre-drilled except for where the long steel bar attaches down the middle to support the bed-slats. That was easy enough to install once we positioned it properly. A few holes to drill. No biggie. All in all the bed is a great addition to my spare room. I am ready for company, and I still have all that storage - on the bed and below. The bed has clean, airy lines and should do its job for many years."
